Have you had an allergic reaction to any tattoo, henna or permanent makeup in the past.

Do you have any rashes or irritation/sensitivity on your face or scalp.
If you answered Yes to any of the above you may not be able to have your colour service done. Skin Test will be needed.

Have you had colour, a skin test or home colour elsewhere since your last colour at New Image Hairdressing.

Has it been more than six months since your last colour or skin test.
If you answered NO to any of the above you will need a skin test
SKIN TEST

A skin test involves a 2 minute visit to the salon.

Skin tests need to be done 48 hour before your colour.

A skin test involves a small dot of colour placed behind your ear or inside your elbow.

Reactions are rare but if you do react its important to seek medical advice as soon as possible stating what products were used.
Before Colour Advice
Give your hair a moisturising treatment at least a week before your colour. This helps your colour penetrate better giving a better result.
Tell your stylist of any medication, products you have used in the past and currently.
Always use Colour protecting Shampoo & conditioner each time after your colour to protect it.
Hair colour is a complicated service you may need extra services and multiple appointments to achieve the look you are asking for, cost may need to increase for any extras needed.
